Please review my golf swing if ya got a minute or two?
This video is average quality but it has down the line and side view.
I tend to hit the ball of the toe and hook it left any advice?

Set up looks good with one exception. You are very straight legged with no knee flex at all. If you notice in both views you struggle to maintain balance at the finish. The side view shows why. You have a large move to the right in your backswing, which I’m sure feels to you like making a big turn or getting behind the ball. But you are so far back there that there is no way for you to get all the way back to the ball at impact. Even in these practice swings we see the club bottoming out well before where the ball would be. That means the club is already closing by the time you get to impact. The slide to the right in the backswing causes much of this. The big question is what causes the slide?
Go back to your address position. Create a little bit of knee flex and maintain that flex in your right knee through the backswing. You should actually feel tension created in the inside of your right thigh as you coil. If you lose your knee flex you will again slide to the right and get too far behind the ball. If you can maintain your knee flex you will be more on top of the ball at the top, your backswing will become more compact, and you will see a huge difference in your drive through the ball and balance at the finish. Yours is actually a pretty easy fix!

It looks like you are losing your balance at impact maybe you are trying to crush the ball when you mishit? Overall I think it is a pretty good swing though.

I think its a pretty good swing. i think the reason you toe the ball is that you swing from out side to in, but it didn’t look like that in the video so i don’t really know what it is. i have an out side to in swing and sometimes i duck hook the ball so that’s the only thing i can say about that. if the problem doesn’t subside then just work with the hook my dad plays with a hook and can smash the ball 330 yards sometimes so if you can’t get rid of if then don’t try to use what you have to the best of your abilities. i hope you figure out what it is and good luck

Your problem has been identified by CG+1. The fix is quite simple but will require some work on your swing. Back to basics for you and there are certainly a lot of different theories to choose from any more. The one that I’d suggest you try is a single axis swing whereby you turn around a stationary spine. The easiest way to get on track is to keep your head and attention fixed on the ball and try to turn back without moving your head from it’s fixed position. You’ll soon find it comfortable and wonder where the sway and mishits went. Just stay still and maintain your posture throughout the swing and finish in a nice balanced position. Good Luck

Looks to me like you might just be nervous because you know you are on camera and will be on You Tube for millions of people to critisize your swing! ! To get to your question, here is what I saw. I like your preshot routine but it is a little over the top. Too much of it is spent on you thinking about where your club should be at certain points of your swing. CHILL OUT! ! I recomend you VISUALIZE your shot everytime regardless if you are on the tee box, your second shot, chipping and ultimatly putting. Stand behind your ball and just see what you want it to do. Simplify your preshot routine and you will be surprised how well you get back to hitting the ball. Just get back to basics. I can tell you have watched videos, read articles, and golfed a round or two. You have a natural swing. (period) I suggest you GET BACK TO BASICS and you will be drawing the ball instead of hooking it OB.

Hey man nice swing. I think you may need to widen your stance however. You seem to be falling over after your followthrough. It is easy to come across the ball, make sure you widen your stance consciously past the width of your shoulders, after doing this on the range, you will do it to a neutral position on the course. When doing this, make sure you try to swing easy. Not SLOW, just easy. When first widening your stance, people tend to swing hard because they feel that they cant get as much power. Truthfully, swinging hard and making bad contact will yield less distance than a smooth wing and a well struck shot.

Pretty good swing. Looks like you may be coming in at the ball from the outside thus promoting the toe hook. I have same problem. If you setup farther away from the ball and concentrate on taking the club back INSIDE on your takeaway this may correct the pull hook and help you to hit a nice draw.

I will just agree with the former and add just a little to it. Straight legs cause all kinds of inconsistency because it promotes rotation around your legs instead of your hips. Keeping your knees bent forces your rotation to be higher and keeps your base (legs) stable. As well as bending my knees toward the ball, I like to bend my right knee (back knee) very slightly toward the target which helps me to keep the weight on the inside of that foot in the backswing rather than going back to far.

You don’t bend your knees as much as you should, and you also lose your balance a little bit. Bend your knees a bit before the swing, and don’t swing as hard. Looks good other than that.
I believe the reason you hit the ball off the toe and hook it is because of balance issues.
