how big do you think a miniature golf place is? Width by length?
an average putt-putt/mini-golf place has about 18 holes. I don’t really know how big the entire area would be including a building for the snack bar/restrooms/register. Estimates please?
Putt-putt is just a kids putting area.
Miniature golf for many means golfing fairways, but each hole only 130 to 240 feet long. Each hole being a par 3 to chip and putt.
Best is to do your research by visiting a few putt-putt places near you, or Google them. You-Tube has some putt-putt golf holes. Some elaborate ones include machinery to carry the ball overhead. Others have windmills to putt under by timing the ball to miss the windmill blades.
Basic ones are as 6 to 12 yards long and 1.5 yards wide, carpeted sunk into concrete edges for the ball to ricochet off.
Multipy that by 18 holes and add coffee tables and office area and you can get an idea.
Good luck

Golf help?
I make really good contact with the ball, but when I hit it I almost always involuntarily slice it or hook it. In other words, I’m not consistant. Any suggestions? Also, when I chip and putt I can read the green very well, but I cant get the power right. Any suggestions to that as well?
I am on a high school team. On nine holes i usually hit between a 48-57 but for some reason I have recently been shooting a in the 60′s and it is really starting to get to me. Any help? I really want to shed stroke off of my game.
** I have Callaway X-20′s and I LOVE them, and they are very forgiving… I hit them the best out of about 6 other clubs I hit when searching for clubs.
*** I always walk the nine holes and practice as often as I can. I average about 2-3 times a week, due to school and other things that get in the way of practice.
As much as I’d like to say that I could get help from the pro, he’s an idiot. He may be able to play very well but he sure as heck doesn’t know how to teach it. He’ll try to teach you his swing, and his style. I am friends with a guy that is currently getting his PGA card and he told me that if someone tried to teach you there swing to not listen to them, since you would never reach your full potential.
Also when i made the team i shot about 13 over, which is good for a freshman. Please help me, since I have nobody to help me. I’ve tried the guy who’s getting his PGA card has to work and he can’t help me so please give me some advice!!!
Try getting a club that breaks if you don’t swing correctly. That may help

How do you prepare for a round of golf that you really want to play and score well in?
If you have 2-3 hours to prepare how do you do it?
I like to stretch out at home for 15-20 minutes before I head off to the course. Then I get there about 1 hour prior to my tee time. I will chip and putt for about 30-40 minutes to make sure I have a really good feel for the greens. Next I will hit about a half a bucket of balls to really get my timing down (about 15 minutes). With the last 10-15 minutes I do a little extra stretching that kind of loosens me up and gets rid of any tension in me. While I loosen up I go over course strategy in my head so that I have a general game plan for each hole. I really like to get to the first tee focused on the mental aspect.
How about you?
Arrive an hour early, generally just try and get that ‘chill’ feeling – not rushed. Hit some short shots like chips, pitches and flops focusing on making solid contact and distance control. Hit a few long lag putts, a few medium putts from both sides of the hole (right to left / left to right), then a few short putts keying on a positive accelerating stroke.
Head to the range and hit some 100 yard sand wedges, a few 7 irons, a few 5 irons, then a few rip drivers. Focus on my targets and working the ball a bit – hitting ‘shots’ and not obsessing about mechanics. End on a good shot.
