The Simple Golf Swing
Simple Golf Swing
Add amazing distance to every drive and cut your handicap by up to twelve strokes with the only instruction system proven to help almost any golfer break 80.
Can you handle the truth?
Most club pros don’t think so. And certainly none of the other golf instruction sites will tell you what I’m about to.
You’ll never develop a swing like Tiger’s. Or for that matter, Mickelson’s, Els’s, Daly’s or Garcia’s.
To be frank, no matter how hard you try or how often you practice, odds are you’ll NEVER be able to swing the club like the top tour pros.
Why? Because, like most of us, you weren’t born with their physical ability.
Besides, each of the big-money pros has a swing that’s unique to his (or her) physique. It’s hardwired into the DNA. That’s how they got to be big-money pros.
Does that mean you’ll never play better than you play right now? That you’re doomed to be a duffer? The butt of countless jokes from your buddies? A study in frustration?
No! Nein! Nyet! Non!! No way!
Because there’s another, more important truth.
It doesn’t matter if you can’t copy Tiger.
Or any of the top tour pros. You don’t have to even try. You shouldn’t try.
Because I’m going to help you develop a swing guaranteed to help you Play better golf than you ever thought possible in two short weeks or I’ll send your money back.
Actually, it’s more than a swing. It’s a whole System. But don’t let that scare you. It’s very simple. That’s the beauty of it. And why I call it
The Simple Golf Swing System™

How to Improve your Golf Chipping Stroke
If you can have the confidence to get your golf balls close to the hole nearly every time you make a golf chipping stroke, your scores are going to come tumbling down faster than you can possibly imagine!
What Is The Chip Shot?
Basically, the chip shot is a flat or low flying, forward moving approach shot.
It’s intended to be used in situations where there is no immediate obstacle between your ball and the target.
Suppose you happened to miss the green with your second shot and your ball landed on the apron or close to the edge of the green. It may not be possible for you to use your putter, because the grass is longer on the apron than it is on the green.
This difference in grass texture is going to affect the roll of the ball, so the idea is to chip the ball over the grass and try to land the ball on the short manicured green, where it can then roll out towards the flag.
You may also have a slight undulation in front of you. If you took the putter to play this shot, the depth of the undulation and the length of grass you’re playing from will also affect the way the ball reacts.
So we need to learn how the ball is going to react once we hit it.
Why Is Chipping So Important?
Golf is not about how far you can hit the ball.
Golf is mainly a target game which demands hitting the ball various distances and seeing how low your score can be at the end of a particular round.
If you can save shots by improving your golf chipping technique, your scores will be lower and as a result your handicap will improve.
Distance & Direction – The Two Secrets To Mastering Your Golf Chipping
Remember, as in Putting, the only way to have consistency is when you can control your distance and direction.
All putts and chips which go in the hole, or come to rest next to the hole, have the magic ingredient of distance and direction.
The saving grace for you is that you’re going to have at least a fifty percent chance of success no matter what your ball does, so long as you can hit it!
The only question you really need to be asking yourself is – “By how much do I want to increase my percentage of success?”
Once you get yourself into the top 70% or 80% range, you’re going to see your handicap come down so fast, it’s not going to be funny!
Judging Distance – Flat Level Green’s Are Easier To Judge
The idea is to get you to understand that if you can imagine playing all your short shots, as though you were playing to a level green, that’s one that has no undulations or slopes by the way, you’ll be able to gauge the roll of the ball more precisely.
You must understand this one very important fact, if you’re going to get good at chipping.
The one thing you really have to burn into your brain is that no matter how long or how short a chip shot you have, THE BALL IS GOING TO ROLL SOME DISTANCE!
I rarely see people chipping around the green and the ball sticks to the ground as soon as it lands. First of all it’s an impossible scenario to imagine and secondly the laws of motion won’t allow it to happen!
So, you had better get ready to understand that your golf ball is going to roll some distance after it hits the green.
Once you start to appreciate this point, you’re now ready to develop a technique that takes this fact into consideration.
If you’re not aware of the distance that your ball is going to roll, you’re not going to get your ball really close to the hole, no matter how good a player you are.
A good way to get used to this new adjustment in your approach is to stand on the edge of the green and just roll balls up to the hole.
You can do this quite easily and it won’t take you long to get used to how much the ball actually begins to roll and react to the slope or “borrow” as we like to call it.
Once you are aware of the Landing Area and not the Finishing Area, you will be absolutely amazed at how good your perception and feel will begin to evolve.
So do the same exercise again, except this time, try and gauge where the ball needs to land so that it rolls out and finishes next to or near to the hole you’ve chosen.
After you’ve done this exercise a few times, you’re now ready to move onto understanding why the pro’s are so good at chipping!
Why 3 Clubs And What’s So Special About Them?
If you’ve watched any live coverage of golf tournaments on the television, then you’ve no doubt been amazed at just how good the pro’s are at getting up and down from around the green.
It doesn’t matter how difficult the shot looks, they always seem to be able to get it close and on the rare occassion – it even goes in!
The majority of pro’s only hit about thirteen or fourteen greens in regulation during a round of golf, so somewhere along the way they’re going to have to chip or pitch the ball close enough to the hole, so that they only need a putt to save their par.
The Secret Clubs The Pro’s Use!
The 3 clubs that the pro’s choose to use are the one’s which allow them to get the majority of their balls close to the hole, even if they make a mistake!
The three clubs are:
The Pitching Wedge
The Sand Iron
The Eight Iron
The Pitching Wedge is the cornerstone. This is what everything revolves around.
The Pitching Wedge will be used for a ball that has to fly fifty percent of the way to the target and then roll the other fifty percent of the distance to the hole.
The Sand Iron is used when the ball has to fly two-thirds of the way to the target and then roll one-third after landing.
And the Eight Iron is used when the ball only has to fly one-third of the way to the target and then is expected to roll the other two-thirds.
So if we break that formula down for you, you can see that the pro’s use percentages to increase their skill.
Let’s see that formula broken down:
Pitching Wedge – 50% Carry – 50% Roll
Sand Iron – 2/3 Carry – 1/3 Roll
Eight Iron – 1/3 Carry – 2/3 Roll
Now, the next time you get to play a chip shot, remember how far the ball needs to roll after it lands on the green, then choose one of the clubs above to help you get it closer!
Remember – “Play with Passion!”

Golf Anyone?
So a man is stand on the tee block and is stretching himself out with his driver. Finally he steps up to the ball and is aligning himself when he feels a tap on the shoulder.
Annoyed he turns his head and sees a guy standing there holding up a small sign. The sign reads: "I am a deaf mute. May I play through?"
Annoyed the first golfer looks at the supposed deaf mute and says "Your handicap gives you no right to play though my game now back off and let me shoot!"
The guy hits the green off the tee and is about to putt out when a ball hits him on the head and knocks him unconcious. When he comes to he sees the deaf mute standing over him holding up 4 (FOUR) fingers.
@ Square Tomato…when golfing you yell FOUR if your ball is going to hit somebody but he was a mute and thus could only hold up 4 fingers.
lmao LOVE ITTTTTT

what do you guys think about obsession with golf perfection?
i practice really hard and im a great golfer(2 handicap pretty much anywhere). and nothing is ever good enough for me and i always strive for the perfect golf game. alot of my friends said it isnt healthy because i think about my swing all the time(except when im golfing of course, im great at blacking out any thoughts) and one of my friends actually mentioned how i can hit a 200 yard shot and knock it 2 feet from the cup and i wouldnt be happy because my divot wasnt lined up to where i wanted it(true event actually)
to me my "its not good enough" scheme seems to work great for my golf game but what do you guys think? is it healthy golf wise? or just life wise? i have a great life, a great job, i go on dates, have awesome freaking doggies and i dont stress out too much but i do sometimes when im not swinging crisp. some of my friends say this isnt a healthy path for a 24 year old. i’d give up most of my possesions to become a pro, and im aware its slim making tour but i wont quit!
Golf is a game of passion. Its a game that pushes you mental and physically ever time you play. Most golfer are not happy with there game because they always know in the back of there head they can improve. That is way you see guys like Tiger, Phil, Elkington, and everyone else on the PGA working on the range for hours on end, sometimes even after a six hour round of golf. So do I think you are crazy, no, I just think you have caught the "Golf Bug" are you are passionate about it. Keep going after your dreams!
If you have that kind of passion for golf have you ever though about getting into the golf business?…Working in the golf business is a great way to learn, practice, make future connections and get paid for going what you love.
Have you looked at playing some mini tours, like the Pepsi Tour, Hooters Tour, Grey Goose Tour, and Tight Lies Tour, just to list a few…These are great little tour to get some exposure, make some money, don’t cost that much to play (200 to 500 dollars for an entry fee) and also a great way to see how you stack up against other people your age.
Good Luck.

stevie wonder…. golf pro?
Stevie Wonder and Tiger Woods are in a bar. Tiger turns to Stevie and says, "How’s the singing career going?" Stevie Wonder replies, "Not too bad. How’s the golf?"
Tiger replies, "Not too bad, I’ve had some problems with my swing, but I think I’ve got that going right now." Stevie says, "I always find that when my swing goes wrong, I need to stop playing for a while and not think about it. Then, the next time I play, it seems to be all right."
Tiger asks, "You play golf?" Stevie says, "Oh, yes, I’ve been playing for years."
Tiger says, "But you’re blind! How can you play golf if you can’t see?" Stevie replies, "I get my caddy to stand in the middle of the fairway and call to me. I listen for the sound of his voice and play the ball toward him. Then, when I get to where the ball lands, the caddy moves to the green or farther down the fairway and again I play the ball toward his voice."
"But how do you putt?" asks Tiger. "Well," says Stevie, "I get my caddy to lean down in front of the hole and call to me with his head on the ground, and I just play the ball toward his voice."
Tiger asks, "What’s your handicap?" Stevie says, "Well, I’m a scratch golfer."
Tiger, incredulous, says to Stevie, "We’ve got to play a round sometime." Stevie replies, "Well, people don’t take me seriously, so I only play for money, and never play for less than $10,000 a hole."
Tiger thinks about it and says, "OK, I’m game for that, when would you like to play?"
Stevie says, "Pick a night."
dang it, i was laughing so hard i fell out of the chair!

You are on the golf course having the worse game of your life. Can you write an amusing paragraph or 2 or more
that includes these phrases?
1. No, really….WHAT’s your handicap?!
2. I did NOT get a 10…it was a 9….sheesh.
3. Has anyone seen my 7 iron?
4. Please…continue talking….I’m only trying to concentrate!!!
5. If he tells that story of his hole-in-one ONE MORE TIME…..blah,blah,blah.
6. ♫ It’s whiskey sour time,da da da daa dada♫
Glenn is a very good friend which is strange, as he and I are diametrically opposites. You see he is a black cab driver, in fact he is white but that’s what we call London Cabs or to be more precise, Hackney Cabs, and I was always taught in my early training days at police college, that they were the lowest of the low. However, he has a heart of gold.
We arrived at the golf course at the usual time, 8.30am and decided on the Upper Course. It’s quite hilly, which causes him to lose his breath and also as he is an exceptionally long hitter, he usually has a blow-out on a couple of holes which gives me a chance. We both play off a handicap of five.
‘Now Glenn’ I said to him as I mounted the first tee ‘no speech play, no throwing clubs and watch the bad language, OK’. ‘Don’t worry Pad’ he answered with a knowing smile on his face ‘I am right on form and fancy a sub-par round today. You’re in trouble my son’.
A couple of practice swings later and I was about to tee off when much to my annoyance, Glenn was having a conversation with another golfer. He was doing his amateur ‘professional’ lesson which he is inclined to do. ‘No, really…..’ he said to the other fellow, ‘you’re stance is all wrong. What’s your handicap?’. I watched as the stranger bowed his head and muttered ’28′. Glenn had managed to spoil the others game before he had taken even his first stroke.
‘Please…..continue talking’ I scolded them ‘I’m only trying to concentrate!!!’. ‘Get on with it’ Glenn retorted ‘the green is clear’. I hit a straight shot, right up the middle, about two hundred and forty yards and beamed a smile towards Glenn. ‘Come on’ he joked ‘there are no cameras on you’.
He then began to have about twenty practice swings which he knows only too well that it gets my goat up, but as the day was turning into a beautiful sunny and warm one, I said nothing. As usual, he hit a slight slice over to the trees on the right, and about 310 yards. ‘Don’t worry’ he said ‘I am not going to get excited’.
A five iron to the green gave me a putt for a birdie whilst Glenn once again sliced to the right of the green. He made a fine chip and I gave him the putt. I rolled my ball up but it lipped out. Fours each for a halved hole.
On the next tee, a par three, we had to wait for the four ball who were waiting there. Once again, Glenn went into full flow. I thought to myself ‘If he tells that story of his hole-in-one one more time I am going to tell them about the fifteen he had on the eight two days ago’. After all, the ace was the biggest load of old rubbish I had ever seen on a golf course. It was about six months ago now, and he had thinned a shot off the tee on a par three, topped it down the fairway, through a bunker which luckily for him slowed the ball down, ran across the green as if it was going to run through, struck the pin, jumped about three feet into the air, flopped down and straight into the hole.
‘It’s not how’ Glenn had boasted as he danced around on the tee, ‘It’s how many’. He was right you know, scorecards do not have diagrams on them, merely score numbers. I had to give him that, he got an ace whilst I have never had one in my thirty-five years golfing.
We continued the game with Glenn holding his temper and me holding him to all square. On the dogleg sixth, I pulled my shot into the trees whilst he hit a brilliant shot, clear over the trees with a beautiful draw which took him around the corner towards the green. I took a drop and got back into play with a masterful five iron. Straight to the heart of the green. Glenn had no more than ninety yards to the pin, but my luck was in. Not only did he fluff his chip, but he had a double-hit. He eventually made it in four. A look on his face showed that he was simmering, not quite yet up to the boil.
We continued after he made his putt and I missed mine. Still all square. The seventh was uneventful but when he hit a disasterous hook on the long eight, I knew that I was going to be in front by the time we got to the tea bar beside the eight green.
Glenn had to chip out of the trees on the left, over done it and put himself in all sorts of trouble. Two more shots and he was level with me. I hit a beautiful three wood to the apron of the green whilst this time, he sliced it onto the lower course fourteenth fairway.
I saw him throw one of his clubs and his temper was once again up in the clouds somewhere. A chip and a putt for a birdie put me one up. Glenn was still struggling and as was his wont, he insisted on playing the hole out in order to keep a score. As we made our way to the tea-bar, I casually said to him ‘A big ten, eh’. In actual fact I had no idea whatsoever what his true score was but I was going to wind him up even tighter than he already was. The gist of his reply, ommitting the expletives, was ‘I did not get a ten..it was a nine….sheesh….some people can’t even blinkingwell count’. From that moment on I knew I had him.
After a smoke and cup of tea we made our way to the ninth tee. It is a lay-up and we both usually play a seven iron.
I was just about to hit off when I heard another string of choice swear words ‘Has anyone seen my seven iron?’ he shouted back to the three ball following us. In actual fact we had to stand aside and let them through whilst Glenn made his way back down the other course fairway where he found his club. It was the one he had thrown.
Needless to say, but the game went completely downhill from that point onward. On the tenth tee, and I swear this is true, after he skied his wedge teeshot to the par three, he actually used his wedge as an axe and chopped the wooden tee marker in half with it. I began to walk away and said ‘No, you’ve gone over the top this time Glenn, that’s it, I’m off’. I have never heard anyone being so apologetic before or since in my life. ‘I am really sorry Pad. I’ll never do anything like that again, please………’. I looked around and there he was with the two pieces of the marker, trying to stick them together with spit.
What could I say………………. We just played a casual stroll for the remainder and by the time we reached the eighteenth fairway, Glenn was back to his old self. He was even singing ‘It’s whiskey sour time, da, da, daa, dada’. He was already looking forward to the next game tomorrow.
Live in hope, that’s our Glenn. A man who is capable of beating everyone on the course, including the professionals, if he could just hold that temper of his……………………

Golf Swing Teaching Aids Friend Or Foe
Amateur golf players are generally always looking for one thing, how to improve their game in a hurry. Exactly how can you accomplish this? There’s really only one way to do this and it’s with a good training schedule and the right golf teaching aids. The market today is just flooded with different teach aids, some of which help, some of which are more gimmick then instructor. The most important thing you can do before purchasing one of these golf teaching aids is knowing where your strengths and weaknesses are. Other wise you could end up shelling out a lot of money each season for new tools to help you improve but they aren’t helping you with the right things.
Choose the right Golf Teaching Aid from them all
So how do you choose? Some choose according to what they can afford, while others look for the most popular golf instructional tool. You can easily be sold on the latest and greatest instructional tool with the right TV infomercial, but that doesn’t mean it’s where you should spend your money. Knowing where your game needs the most improvement will make all the difference in whether you waste your money, or drop your handicap.
Asking friends, and others you golf with is an ideal opportunity to get a third party review of where you need work on your game. Recognizing your own flaws can be tough at first, but getting some feed back from others will get you looking in the right direction. If you have ever taken a lesson asking an instructor what golf swing teaching aid could help improve your game as well would yield useful information.
When shopping if you’re at a pro shop you should be able to try out the aid prior to purchasing. Give it a try and see if it will actually help correct that part of your game that needs help. Only once you’re 100% sure that this teaching aid focuses where you need it should you make your purchase decision.
Keep in mind that just about everything to do with golf including balls are expensive. So doing your homework up front, and avoiding purchasing numerous training aids that won’t help you with your game will be a lot easier on your wallet and your garage that will become full of the unused gimmicks you buy each season. Not to mention, if you don’t require assistance with a part of your game a golf swing teaching aid could do more harm then good. Un-learning particular parts of technique and mechanics can be harder then learning them in the first place.

What are some golf putters that compare to scotty Cameron studio putters?
I currently have a scotty camron newport 2.7, but i want to return it because i believe its over priced, but i wanna get something that is close to the quality. Ime fifteen years old and a 12 handicap
The best putter for you is the best putter for you! Meaning the golfer makes the putter, the putter does not make the golfer. You can put with anything, really! All you have to have is the feel for it, Really! It is exactly the same principle as shooting – you do not need to aim down the barrel just point and shoot. bow and arrow no need to aim down the shaft – just pint and release. football no need to aim just feel the lead and let it go. Relax dude get ride of the overpriced crap (stop making some self proclaimed expert rich) and get a simple putter that feels good in your grip (like when you pick a baseball bat) and then go drop em in.
