How can tiger woods be surprised when his personal life is not so personal?

He does commercials trying to be a role model and makes insane amounts of money endorsing shoes made by kids in third world countries. If he really wanted privacy he would not be doing a million commercials and doing tv interviews that promote himself not golf. I think everyone has a right to a personal life but if you choose to fool people into believing things that are not true expect the crap to hit the fan.

I agree with you. This is part of the deal of promoting himself as some sort of superhuman, smiling pitchman. It’s never been about the game of golf, it’s about the aura of being tiger. But being in the public eye means people looking at all the things you do, good and bad.

He’s just surprised because he’s not used to hearing bad things about himself. Everybody usually lines up to kiss and massage his bottom. Corporate media is still giving him a butt rubdown by sticking with him and defending him.

I have just taken delivery of my Nintendo Wii console and?

It’s brilliant to use! But on the golf game, although I can whack the balls down the fairway I can’t get the hang of gently putting it into the hole to get onto the next round so my handicap is enormous! Has anyone got any tips on how to gently putt? Thanks!

Easy as putt…y (no pun intended). On the green, (or whenever using the put) just swing back A LITTLE and then bring the club down up to the moment it makes contact with the ball at the height of your shoes/toes – don’t follow through with a SWING as that will be interpreted by the Console as a Drive and you’ be fetching the ball on the other side of the clubhouse! :)

What is involved in putting together a Charity Event Golf Tournament?

I have been tasked to put together a charity event golf tournament benefiting the Special Olympics. The thing is I have never done anything of this magnatude before. What is involved? How do you get things donated. I’ve been to numerous ones and paid the $500 registration fees but always took it for granted and never really paid much attention to the details. I figured, I paid, Things just happen. Now the shoes on the other foot. I am proud and honored to be putting togather this tourney for such a wonderful cause with ALL proceeds going to the special olympics, I just need some help.

Hosting a charity golf tournament can be extremely difficult, but very rewarding. I used to volunteer for a charity golf tournament that my friend ran and we had a blast, but it was a ton of work.

The link covers many of the important points of running a charity tournament.

Good luck and have fun!
